Some of the letters I have been reading lately on the issue of homosexuality are ridiculous. Especially one claiming that homosexuals are trying to recruit our kids. Let us be serious because if it was so, homosexual parents would have better ground to claim that heterosexuals are trying to recruit their kids.

The truth of the matter is that sexual orientation does not change. You may disagree with that statement but that disagreement of yours comes from the fact that you are actually bisexual, like most people. If you are truly heterosexual, homosexual or asexual, no amount of persuasion is going to change your sexual orientation. And if you are bisexual, you will remain bisexual forever regardless of the sex of your spouse. So, I cannot care less about who is trying to convince our kids to change their sexual orientation, it cannot work.

I would like to add as a deeply committed Christian that I am tired of having my religion taken hostage by fanatics who pretend to be fighting for heterosexuality when in reality they do not even care about heterosexuals.
