Thank you to all those involved in making the city so beautiful. As I traveled across Veterans Way (South 320th Street) towards the east it made my heart swell to see those glorious flags waving in the wind.

The red, white and blue against the beautiful blue sky and our majestic Mt. Rainier to the right made a picture I have captured in my mind.

The flag raising on Tuesday was an experience I will long remember and makes me proud to call Federal Way home. Thank you again to our mayor and all the others involved. I really appreciated the Todd Beamer High School band for taking the time and effort to be a part of this great occasion too.
