Priest gets things done | Election letters

Skip Priest is a great example of what an elected official should be. He is active in the community and can be easily found at just about every community event from Fusion to the Kiwanis Salmon Bake.

Federal Way is fortunate to have outstanding men and women who serve our community unselfishly with a genuine love of our city and its diverse population.

Skip Priest is a great example of what an elected official should be. He is active in the community and can be easily found at just about every community event from Fusion to the Kiwanis Salmon Bake. Equally important is Skip’s genuine concern for Federal Way’s citizens no matter what the issue. Whether it’s a major business attraction to create jobs or a neighborhood dispute involving goats or chickens, our dedicated city leader handles the issue with wisdom and class. His experience at the state Legislature has been a tremendous help in getting important projects accomplished.

As a small business owner, I will never forget trying to open my medical business and being delayed by the state Labor and Industries five months because our futuristic battery backup system was so new that it wasn’t listed on the state’s list of “approved devices.”

Skip was able to cut through the red tape in record time and help us open our medical practice where we now employ 80-plus employees.

Skip Priest gets things done, is a man of honesty and integrity and deserves our votes.
