Priest earns my vote for mayor | Federal Way letters

The citizens of Federal Way recently voted to change our form of government to an elected mayor. I encourage people to vote for Skip Priest. He is a man of integrity and experience, but he also has the skills to manage our city — right now.

We face fiscal challenges and an economy badly needing redevelopment. Skip has the business knowledge and political leadership to steer Federal Way through these tough times. He has management experience with large companies and as a former business owner. During his six years on the city council and six in the state Legislature, Skip is connected and has earned a well-deserved reputation for leadership and common-sense solutions.

While his experience and accomplishments make him the clear choice, his commitment and involvement in the community provides another compelling reason to vote for Skip. For the past 20 years, he has been closely involved in city leadership, and has also donated his time to groups that support our citizen’s and businesses such as the Multi-Service Center, Friends of the Hylebos, Kiwanis, Advancing Leadership and the Chamber of Commerce, Federal Way School District, scouts, and more. He has a keen understanding of people and how a community works.

Federal Way needs a mayor with wisdom, experience and a deep passion for the community. Skip Priest is that candidate and that is why he is getting my vote.
