I heard that life was safe here in Federal Way.

One night while my truck was parked in my driveway minding its own business, someone hit my truck. The next day, I had a doctor appointment, and as I checked my truck, I found someone’s driver’s side mirror frame sticking out of the grill of my truck.

I was asked, “Why didn’t you call the police?” And I said, “Why call the police — they will do nothing about it.”

Then today, some Mexican drove by, asking me if he could detail my truck. I believed it was some type of scam, so I said no. Is there some type of scam going around like that?
