Motel attracts unwanted visitors | Letters

So I moved into the apartments/condos called Habitat. It is behind the New Horizon Motel at Pacific Highway South and South 330th Street. For the past four months, cars have been broken into, smashed windows, doors broken, etc. I had several things stolen from my vehicle, like my daughter’s Christmas present. Car windows get smashed and cars are broken into, and it’s becoming a ongoing thing that nobody is doing anything about except “file a report.”

Well on Saturday morning (Dec. 31), the same suspect came back to my truck. This time the idiot didn’t know I put in a alarm and he set the alarm off.

I, as well as a neighbor who heard the alarm (who also had his window smashed) came out an ended up running after the suspect. The suspect ran away and into the New Horizon Motel. This motel is a dump and just a home for convicts and criminals. It needs to be demolished. What can I do to prevent this guy from continuing to keep on breaking into cars, because this is getting old.

What happens when this guy says to himself, “cars are boring, how about I go into homes?” Someone is going to get hurt and the Federal Way police brush it off like nothing is wrong.
