Mayhem and slaughter have been dumped on us by the Legislature.

They could have (and will have to later) raise taxes with a two-thirds vote to end it. It would appear to me that any rational evaluation would conclude that any actions reducing the number of jobs in the state, both directly and indirectly, will reduce the purchasing of goods and services that generate sales taxes that support the governments. The feet that provide our life blood have been amputated.

The new Legislature must suck it up and go after revenue from sources that have money, or can get it without dire consequences. They’ve already got it from those that don’t have any reserves.
