FWEA supports Phillips, Jones, Stable Homes Initiative

The educators proudly serving our community endorse Luckisha Phillips, Jennifer Jones for FWPS school board.

The educators of the Federal Way Education Association proudly serving our community endorse Luckisha Phillips, Jennifer Jones for FWPS school board. We also enthusiastically support the Stable Homes Initiative (19-001 on the ballot).

Luckisha Phillips and Jennifer Jones are both respected long-time community members, parents and college professors. They bring experience and broad state and global perspectives to our FWPS school board. Luckisha and Jennifer are committed to listening to families, the community and to educators. We deeply value this transparency.

We also urge your support of the Stable Homes initiative to keep roofs over our students’ heads! As educators, we know how housing is critical to health and learning. The Stable Homes initiative is one proactive and research-based measure we can take as a community by ensuring fair expectations for both landlords and tenants. Our hardworking families, veterans and military, and our elders deserve the dignity of housing stability.

Vote, and when you do, we encourage your support of Luckisha Phillips, Jennifer Jones and the Stable Homes Initiative!
