Eide and responsive government | Federal Way letters

Senator Tracey Eide has served us well during her very productive years representing the 30th Legislative District in Olympia. She has made jobs creation a top priority and the Jobs Act of 2010 promises to create 38,000 construction trades jobs while making energy efficiency improvements to schools and public buildings on our college and university campuses. School districts and taxpayers will save as much as $126 million annually in operating costs. Another landmark Eide success, after years of trying, was the passage into law of the simple majority bill, a true victory for voters statewide. Her greatest achievement may turn out to be the intermediate driver’s license that has cut teen driving deaths and injuries in half. Certainly the package of sex offender bills passed by the Senate has made citizens of all ages more safe, while making offender penalties much tougher.

Please let Senator Eide know you stand shoulder to shoulder with her on these and numerous other measures that define the importance of the quality of life in our great Northwest. Your vote for responsive government really matters this year. Please make it count for Senator Tracey Eide.
