Bill will normalize sex outside of marriage

The new sex ed law would ‘rape the minds of young children all over the state.’

Senate Bill 5395 will mandate that all school districts in the state will be required to teach “age appropriate” comprehensive sex ed. Sen. Claire Wilson is the bill’s sponsor.

State superintendent Chris Reykdal requested this to happen. At the SB 5395 hearing, Reykdal compared school districts that didn’t have sex education to “flat earth believers.” Reykdal wants sex ed that goes beyond the mechanics of procreational sex. Reykdal wants all school districts to educate very young innocent children all sex acts and include awareness of transgenderism.

All of this is done in the name of reducing sexually transmitted diseases, but what it does is normalizes 1) sex outside of marriage, 2) biblically offensive sex acts and 3) gender confusion to the heartbreaking dismay of many parents including myself.

Wilson says parents can “opt out” their child from individual comprehensive sex ed classes. It’s naive to say that “opt out” works. Schools are bureaucracies and mistakes happen, a lot. Does the “opt out” notification opportunity end up buried in the child’s backpack? For example, at age 12 one of my children was taught about a sodomy sex act. I did not get a warning that sex ed would be taught that day. Not getting notified about the opportunity to “opt out” of sex ed happened five times to our family while the kids were in the Federal Way school system.

It is not age appropriate to get a mental picture of a sodomy act at age 12.

In another King County school district I “opted” one of my children out of sex ed and that was a traumatic experience for my child. That child at age 12 was told to leave the classroom. Then the teacher taught sex ed. Then in the hallways the other students mercilessly teased my child about not knowing what happened in class that day. Later that day the radical sex ed teacher found my child in the hallway and told my child how “vital” abortion was. Opt out does not work!

If this turns into state law, Washington will mandate that all school districts teach about supposedly “age appropriate” sex acts. A brand new sex ed law would rape the minds of young children all over the state and continue to promote gender fluidity/transgender. Across the nation parents are fighting comprehensive sex ed.
