A gracious thank you to anonymous patron

To the anonymous diner at Red Robin: THANK YOU.

A group of 12 adults living with developmental disabilities recently dined at Red Robin in Federal Way. These people are participants of the city of Federal Way Inclusion Program and were attending a night out we call “Dinner & Movie.” As the meal came to an end and our staff went to help participants pay for their meal, the server notified them that the meal had been paid for by someone at the restaurant.

This person chose to remain anonymous and therefore, staff and the participants could not give them proper thanks.

To the anonymous diner at Red Robin: THANK YOU. Thank you from our staff and all of our participants for touching their lives and sharing grace and kindness with your fellow citizens.

Many adults living with developmental disabilities don’t have proper access to social activities or recreational opportunities. They look forward to trips like “Dinner & Movie” because they are able to spend time with their friends, socialize and have a good time. The anonymous person gave these participants a little more joy during that time.

The next time the national news cycle has you down, remember there are gestures of kindness going on around us all the time. These gestures don’t generally come with any fanfare or recognition but they are happening every day.
