A memorial for fallen Federal Way police officer Patrick Maher was dedicated Aug. 2 in front of City Hall. Officer Maher died in the line of duty five years ago from a gunshot wound to the abdomen after intervening in a dispute among three individuals in a convenience store parking lot.
