Fitness groups celebrate Shop Local campaign at FW Farmers Market

Local health and fitness businesses got to shine while breaking a sweat at last week’s Federal Way Farmers Market.

The Federal Way Farmers Market, Shop Local Federal Way and the Greater Federal Way Chamber of Commerce hosted the Shop Local Health and Fitness Fair on May 15.

Throughout the day, market goers enjoyed informational booths and live demonstrations from a dozen groups. The event was emceed by Bolt 365 Radio.

Twelve local fitness groups were in attendance, including Curves, Federal Way Fitness Studio’s Jazzercise and Zumba, Three Trees Yoga, Work Well NW, Best Hour Fitness, DeMile Martial Arts, Fitness for All, Kapoeira Martial Arts, Kyokushin Kan Federal Way, Master Na’s Martial Arts, and the Federal Way Community Center.

The next Shop Local business fair at the market will be held in June to highlight Federal Way’s food and catering related businesses. For more information, visit shoplocalfedway.com.
