Federal Way Public Schools staff rally before school starts

Federal Way Public Schools employees heard a rousing and inspirational welcome back from Interim Superintendent Sally McLean and guest speaker Dr. Edwin Javius before getting started on their normal data day activities during the 2014 all staff rally on Sept. 2, district officials said.

The event, which was held at the Christian Faith Center in Federal Way to accommodate the large crowd, was standing-room only.

The first day of classes in Federal Way is Wednesday, Sept. 3.
