Pac Island Grill is closing, transitioning to catering

Pac Island Grill is closing its Federal Way location after 21 years in business.

The family-owned restaurant will not renew its lease after it expires at the end of September.

Pac Island has been serving authentic Hawaiian-style barbecue in famously large portions since opened their doors in 2005. Specialty dishes like slow-smoked Kalua pork, fire-grilled Loli-Loli chicken and ahi poke have earned the “Taste of Tacoma Best Entree” award over multiple years. They are also continuous “Best of Federal Way” winners.

The restaurant will stay open at its location on 2012 S 230th St., Suite H for the remainder of August and into September.
