The Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for March 20 from Todd Beamer High School is Myla Felizardo (senior), gymnastics.

What is your favorite subject/class in school?

Psychology.

What does it mean to be a good teammate? Why is it important to your success? What is one thing you do to help others around you?

What it means to be a good teammate is being there for the team and supporting them so that we can all do our best. It is important to my success because when I have a supportive team, I know that when I compete, they will be cheering for me. I try to make my teammates to feel included and encouraged to do their best.

If you could have dinner with anyone (living or from the past), who would it be? Why?

If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be my parents, because my parents have always been there to support me and watch me.

You’re on a long road trip, you stop at a gas station. You get one drink and one snack. What are you choosing?

Myla, a senior on the gymnastics team, leads by example in everything she does. She competes with confidence and consistency across multiple events, always giving her best for her team. Beyond the gym, Myla is just as dedicated in the classroom, holding herself to high academic standards. Her work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to both her sport and her education make her a respected leader and a great role model for her teammates.
