Nov. 18

There was one vehicle theft reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.

Prohibited weapons: At 12:35 a.m. on 15th Place Southwest, there was a report that officers responded to a suspicious vehicle, and when officers located the vehicle and stopped it, the driver was found to be driving with a suspended license. The driver was also found to have prohibited weapons.

Arson: At 3:36 a.m. on South 322nd Place, there was a report that officers found a group of transients with a substantial unregulated fire burning directly next to a building and an electrical box. All the people ran away when the officers approached them, except for one male. No probable cause was found for the male, so he was released.

Pedestrian struck: At 1:45 a.m. on South 320th Street, there was a report that witnesses saw a white SUV collide with a female pedestrian walking northbound across South 320th Street. Witnesses rushed to help the victim, and the SUV left the scene without contact.

Nov. 19

There were four vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Suspect flees: At 12:42 a.m. in the 28000 block of 28th Place South, there was a report that officers attempted to arrest a known warrant subject. The subject fled on foot from officers, and a K-9 track was started. The suspect was not apprehended.

Burglary: At 10:11 a.m. in the 1200 block of South 356th Street, there was a report of a burglary at a business overnight.

Nov. 20

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Illegal discharge: At 4:32 a.m. in the 30000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers responded to the listed location for a report of an illegal discharge. No victim was found. A spent shell casing was found and booked into evidence.

Bank robbery: At 12:24 a.m. in the 32000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers responded to a bank robbery with a firearm at Bank of America.

Burglary: At 10:46 a.m. in the 3400 block of Southwest 320th Street, there was a report that an unknown white female wearing a blue sweatshirt, face mask and gloves broke into the Color Nails and Spa by prying the lock on the front door. The suspect stole nail grinding equipment, nail polish, nail products, $100 cash, gift certificates and store receipts. No further suspect info.

Nov. 21

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Animal bite: At 8:40 a.m. at 39th Avenue South and South 322nd Street, there was a report that officers responded to take a report of a dog bite. A small dog bit a juvenile and left pea-sized wounds on her left leg. The dog was not taken into custody due to the minor injury.

Nov. 22

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Gun stolen from vehicle: At 8:38 a.m. in the 900 block of Southwest Campus Drive, there was a report that a gun was stolen from a vehicle overnight.

Fight, then cigarettes stolen: At 1:08 p.m. in the 1500 block of South 348th Street, there was a report that at a business, a man, about 50 years old, punched another man of an unknown age, and after the two engaged in a physical altercation, the nearly 50-year-old man stole a pack of cigarettes from the business.

Magazine full of bullets: At 2:43 p.m. in the 100 block of Southwest 322nd Street, there was a report that someone had found what they believed to be a gun magazine in the grass. Officers located the magazine that was full of 9mm hollow-point bullets.

French bulldog: At 9:56 p.m. at 21st Avenue Southwest and Southwest 330th Street, someone reported that they found a French bulldog wandering in the street alone, wearing no collar. The reporting party requested help surrendering the dog.

Nov. 23

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Dog attacks another dog: At 6:56 p.m. in the 35000 block of 27th Avenue Southwest, there was a report that someone’s dog was attacked by a pit bull. The bitten dog had to be rushed to the vet. Where the pit bull went after the attack was unknown.

Nov. 24

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.

Delivery driver attacked: At 10:20 a.m. on Southwest 320th Street, there was a report that officers responded to a fight. The victim, an Amazon driver, reported being randomly punched in the face by the suspect during a delivery. The suspect affirmed this action post-Miranda, stating that he thought the driver was an old schoolmate with whom he had a beef. The driver restrained the suspect using grapple holds until police arrived. The victim did not wish to press charges.
