Nov. 4
There were two vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Person cutting things under car: At 1:15 a.m. on Southwest 311th Street, there was a report from a woman who said a Black male dressed in black was under her vehicle, and she saw what looked like a cutting tool in his hands, and she saw sparks. She said that the man saw her, and he got into an older-style Honda Civic and left with a driver who was either Asian or white.
City property hit and run: At 8:17 a.m. on Weyerhaeuser Way South, officers conducted an investigation for a hit and run of city property. A suspect was identified, and a case was forwarded to the city prosecutor.
Nov. 5
There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Man chasing woman: At 9:57 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Commons, there was a report of a man chasing a woman with a knife. The man was contacted. An investigation found probable cause to arrest the man for weapons apparently capable, fourth-degree assault, harassment and first-degree trespass. The man was booked into SCORE jail.
Necklace scam: At 3:47 a.m. in the 27000 block of Pacific Highway South, the victim stated that while helping a customer, she offered to show her gratitude for the service by giving him a necklace. When she placed a fake necklace around his neck, she removed the one he was already wearing. She got into a silver Toyota Camry and left the scene north of Pacific Highway South. The victim does not know who the female suspect is. There is no CCTV footage of the incident. There is no further suspect information at this time. The victim stated that the necklace’s approximate value is $3,000.
Excavator possible scam: At 7:37 p.m. in the 3800 block of South 322nd Street, there was a report that a man bought an excavator from Facebook Marketplace, paying $16,000, and a little less than a month later, someone came to his house and took it without his knowledge. The man said that when he returned to where he bought it from, they told him that he had signed a contract and it became invalid because the person who arranged the sale for the man had stolen from the company in the past. The man said he never signed a contract and had no receipt. He was advised to hire a civil lawyer to determine his options.

There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Package theft: At 9 a.m. in the 1800 block of South 282nd Place, there was a report of a package theft from a porch. The victim stated that they got a good description of the thief from their security cameras, but they don’t recognize her. The victim stated that the package thief is a female African American wearing brown boots, a black jacket and a white jacket partly covering her face. The stolen item was worth $300.
Nov. 7
There was one vehicle theft reported, and two vehicles were recovered on this day.
Burglary: At 6:19 a.m. in the 34000 block of 19th Avenue Southwest, there was a report of a residential burglary.
Obstructing justice: At 10:46 a.m. in the 31000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of an illegal encampment, and when officers arrived, a man provided officers with a false name. The man was fingerprinted, and he had a warrant, but he was declined to be booked due to having an infected wound and high blood pressure.
Stolen firearm: At 8:37 a.m. in the 29000 block of Redondo Way South, there was a report of a stolen firearm. The victim said that they left their gun in their car, and it was stolen overnight.
Assault with a firearm: At 4:05 p.m. in the 35000 block of 21st Avenue Southwest, there was a report that officers responded to an illegal discharge. A gunshot victim was later discovered at St. Francis Hospital.
Nov. 8
There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Man exposing himself: At 2:59 p.m. Pacific Highway South and South 340th Place, there was a report of a man exposing himself in public. Officers located the man who admitted to exposing himself. Probable cause for indecent exposure was found. The man was taken into custody and booked into SCORE jail.
Burglary: At 12:44 p.m. in the 35000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report of a nonresidential burglary.
Nov. 9
There was one vehicle theft reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Overdose: At 2 p.m. on Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers were flagged down about a potential overdose in progress. Officers located the male, who was not breathing and had little to no pulse. Officers administered multiple doses of Narcan, as well as CPT. Fire personnel arrived on scene, and the man was stabilized.
Motorhome stolen: At 3:38 p.m. in the 35000 block of Pacific Highway South, there was a report that officers were dispatched to a burglary in which a motorhome was stolen. Probable cause was established for theft of a motor vehicle and second-degree burglary.
Man in fight: At 2:45 p.m. on Pacific Highway South and South 359th Street, there was a report of a man who was bleeding from his head. A witness said that the man was fighting with another man in the street when he was hit in the head with what was possibly a metal pipe. The injured man did not want to participate in the prosecution and only wanted to go to the hospital.
Knife produced in store: At 5:26 p.m. on Pacific Highway South, a male suspect produced a knife when confronted for possible theft by a store employee.
Man holding a gun while stealing: At 6:39 p.m. Pacific Highway South, officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at Old Navy. An employee reported that a man with a gun in his hand went inside the store and shoplifted. Officers arrived on scene and initially established probable cause for first-degree robbery. An officer located the suspect and arrested him. Probable cause for menacing established.
Nov. 10
There was one vehicle theft reported, and zero vehicles were recovered on this day.
Landscaping at McDonald’s: At 12:12 a.m. on Pacific Highway South, officers responded to a call related to a possible drunk driver at McDonald’s. A vehicle was attempting to drive over the landscaping in the drive-through. The driver was arrested for DUI.
People attempt to rob a student: At 8:13 a.m. on 13th Avenue South, there was a report that at about 6:40 a.m., a student walking to school was contacted by two white males described as possibly homeless. The males attempted to take a duffel bag from the student and punched him in the face. The males then ran off when a vehicle approached.
Propane theft: At 3:02 p.m. on First Avenue South, there was a report that at 7-Eleven, 15 propane tanks were stolen overnight between midnight and 6 a.m. The suspect cut the bolt that secured the container holding the tanks. Video footage did not capture the incident.
Nov. 11
There were zero vehicle thefts reported, and one vehicle was recovered on this day.
Rock thrown at window: At 11:37 a.m. on Pacific Highway South, there was a report that an unknown subject wearing a black face mask, a black hoodie and gray pants threw a rock at the business’s window. The window was cracked, but was not completely broken. About $500 of damage was incurred.
Merchandise stolen: At 1:20 p.m. on 21st Avenue Southwest, there was a commercial burglary report where $18,000 worth of merchandise was stolen from a storage unit. Four firearms were also stolen. No suspect information.
Burglary: At 4:05 p.m. on South 326th Place, there was a report of a residential burglary.
