I am 16 years old, attend Todd Beamer High School (Running Start student at Highline College), and I’m a native and current resident of Federal Way.

I was reading a recent edition of the Federal Way Mirror and I saw a lot of things about state Senate candidate Mark Miloscia; some good, some alright, but overall, after everything, I just wanted your readers to know that I think Mark would be a perfect fit for the state Senate.

About a year ago I first heard of his name, never really thinking about who he was. I think the first time Mark ever stood out to me was when I took the bus to school and saw him standing on the corner of Pacific Highway, waving at people. And then later he walked up to my door just wanting to meet me and my family. It wasn’t like he was trying to sell me something, convince me why other candidates were wrong, but he was just getting around in his community.

I truly believe in many of the things he is supporting and striving for, and have started to disapprove of Shari Song’s actions. I love how when asked what he wanted people to know about himself in this newspaper, it was things like how he loved his wife and kids, and six grandsons, etc. It just proves he is a real, good guy.

So with that said, I’d just like to conclude that if I could vote, I would choose him in a heartbeat. Thank You Mark Miloscia!
