Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for March 15: Sean Park

Thomas Jefferson High School’s Sean Park, boys swim, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for March 8.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Math.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: SAT prep.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Mother and father.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: I like to listen to music by Playboi Carti.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Woke Up Like This” Playboi Carti x Lil Uzi Vert.
From the sideline: Junior Sean Park placed second overall at districts qualifying for the WIAA 4A state swim meet in his 100 backstroke going a 0:54.85. Sean swam at state and placed 17th in the 100 backstroke with a 0:55.34. Sean was also part of TJ’s state 200 Medley Relay leading off in the backstroke, with a final time for the team of 1:44.91 and placed 22nd. Sean was also a part of our State 400 Freestyle Relay going 3:27.14 and placing 19th. We hope to have Sean back next year as he is a great asset to our team and brings a lot of fun to TJ’s swim team as well.
