Decatur boys basketball player Les Sessoms II and Todd Beamer girls basketball player Japhera McEachin have been nominated as the Mirror’s Athlete of the Week for Nov. 28 to Dec. 2.

(BOLD) McEachin displayed her leadership through the Titans’ first two games this season against Cleveland, when she produced 19 points during Beamer’s 65-48 win. She put on an encore against Enumclaw with 15 points and five assists.

(BOLD) Sessoms II led all scorers with 23 points as the Decatur Golden Gators beat Archbishop Murphy 85-46. Sessoms II’s points came on five field goals, three 3-pointers and 4-of-6 shooting from the free throw line. In his free time, Sessoms II enjoys playing the NBA 2K video game franchise and goes by @lesthbest23 on Twitter.
