Teri Hickel’s service has been more outstanding than ever since taking office in the state Legislature last year.

She has continued her longtime support of the many organizations in Federal Way, Milton and Auburn, and I challenge the voters in the 30th District to find the same level of service in her opponent.

Teri’s integrity and sincerity when tackling the important issues we face in the 30th District reflect what she termed “servant leadership” when directing the Advancing Leadership program. Advancing Leadership has trained over 850 residents over a period of 16 years and is still going strong today – the alumni include many well-known and respected political and business leaders in Federal Way and beyond.

Teri transitioned a new leader for the program so she could campaign for office last year.

Teri passionately supports issues that benefit the families in our communities, and I’ve personally seen her work to create living-wage jobs, alleviate traffic congestion and reduce crime.

She is committed to seeking out and hearing all sides of difficult issues and then bringing people together to have open dialogue to find common ground that result in solutions.
