Saluting long-time Federal Way police chief | Letter

Just a quick letter to say how pleased I was to be able to attend and salute the service of our long-serving Chief of Police, Brian J. Wilson.
The retirement ceremony was warm and heartfelt in praise of Wilson’s remarkable career and the effect of his leadership here in Federal Way. Chief Wilson now goes forward to serve Mayor Jim Ferrell as his chief of staff, an excellent choice.
