Secretary of State Sam Reed has endorsed the mayoral campaign of Federal Way City Council member Jim Ferrell. In 2009, Ferrell led an effort to change Federal Way’s form of government and replace the city manager with an elected mayor. So far, Ferrell is the only declared candidate for mayor. His other endorsements include Federal Way School Board member Tony Moore, Federal Way City Council member Roger Freeman and King County Council member Reagan Dunn.
