Another person has been gunned down at Federal Way Transit Center.

Unfortunately, this event is not so surprising, given the ease every fool and madman has in gaining possession of a gun and bullets.

Now, virtually everyone you meet is packing heat — and you never know what is going to set them off.

A burst of hormonal rage? Testosterone panic?

In the old days, these rages were dealt with in a more manly fashion, bloody fisticuffs, but at least in most cases no one was left dead. Now, any coward with a gun can blow another human being away when he gets ticked off.

And a national tone of incivility, which is being fueled by a fool of congressman from South Carolina who is using his infantile outburst in the somber halls of Congress to raise money from other fools for his congressional campaign.

This nationwide mood of nastiness and slander is also fed by extremist talk show hosts who portray our nation’s commander in chief as variously (and disingenuously) a Nazi, a fascist, a communist, a pedophile, a baby killer (mark one notch in this regard taken by Bill O’Reilly of Faux News and his ceaseless attacks on the late Dr. George Tiller, who was murdered by another fool with a gun while he was attending church).

Deadly attacks in the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.

A deadly assault on Unitarians (too liberal to live) by another fool in Tennessee whose apartment was littered with books by the aforementioned O’Reilly, another Faux News host Sean Hannity and the bloated super-rich Rush Limbaugh.

Now, Faux News has the even more toxic face of Glenn Beck spewing forth the garbage of hatred and vitriol, enticing more fools with more guns to go out and kill.

America! Grow up! And stop taking the coward’s way out with a gun!
