I attended the Federal Way City Council special city core Twin Development EB-5 meeting June 15.

The city and developer made their pitch.

After the meeting before council meeting, there was an informal mingling, questions one on one.

There was a former council member talking about the city core. Seems like this was supposedly laid out 20 years ago and the former council member was was all but breaking her arm patting herself on the back.

That is until I mentioned, why did the city have to buy the plot and when did the city become a real estate developer? (2007)

She had a confused look on her face and I walked away.

People of Federal Way, wake up. Stand in the middle of Pacific Highway South where 312th Street crosses it.

Look south, north, east, west. Is this your vision of our city?

This project is all about EB-5 fast track immigration.
