The Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week of March 13 from Federal Way High School is Drew Miller (senior), swim and dive.

Drew Miller did not submit a questionnaire, but The Mirror did receive a comment from his coach.

From the sidelines:

A four-time team MVP and four-time NPSL All-League honoree (second team freshman-junior year, first team senior year), he has been our highest-scoring athlete every season. He qualified for WCD 3A Districts in both individual and relay events all four years and competed at the 4A and 3A state meet, even advancing to state finals beginning in his sophomore year all the way through his senior year.

More than the accolades, Drew is the heart of our team. His knowledge and dedication to the sport are evident in his genuine eagerness to help others refine their technique alongside his coaches. He is always the first to offer a helpful tip or share strategies that helped him perfect his craft, all while continuing to pursue his own goals. Whether it’s someone’s first week or tenth year in the sport, Drew invests in them the same way.

Known affectionately as the team’s “Chit Chat Champion,” his sportsmanship, kindness, and leadership have earned him the admiration of his teammates and the deep respect of his coaches. Drew Miller has been one of the greatest assets to our program, and his Eagle swim family will always cherish the impact he made as he graduates this spring and moves on to his next chapter.
