March 13: Grand Kyiv Ballet presents Don Quixote: A celebration of dance, passion, and fearless romance is coming to Federal Way at 7 p.m. March 13 at the Federal Way PAEC, located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Step into the sun-drenched world of Spain, filled with fiery rhythms, dazzling choreography, and irresistible energy.
March 14: Free Blueberry Pruning Seminar: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hylebos Blueberry Farm Park, 630 S. 356th St. in Federal Way. Participants will receive instructions and an opportunity for some hands-on practice and one-on-one guidance. Everyone is welcome, bring your favorite tools. Extra tools and snacks will be provided.
March 15: Secoma Lanes Trash Can Tournament: Get ready to throw your low game in the trash! This tournament is a fun and competitive format that rewards consistency and gives every bowler a chance to shine. Check in is at 9 a.m. and tournament starts at 10 a.m. Secoma Lanes is located at 34500 Pacific Hwy. S. in Federal Way.
March 17: St Patrick’s Day Family Scavenger Hunt: From 2 to 3 p.m. at Fairfield, Village Green is hosting a festive, family-friendly scavenger hunt designed for guests of all ages. Enjoy Irish décor, delicious appetizers and desserts, and green beer for those who wish to partake. Village Green is located at 35419 1st Ave. St. in Federal Way.
March 17: Book club Meeting: Join Midgard Comics, Games and More for their monthly book club from 7 to 9 p.m. at 1500 S. 336th St., Suite 12A. March’s read is the “Jasmine Throne” by Tasha Suri. If you don’t have time to read the book, no problem, Midgard invites you to come hang out, have snacks, and create a cute little potted plant arrangement.
March 18: Liverpool Legends ‘Beatles Experience!’: Liverpool Legends are four world-class musicians and actors, personally curated by the late Louise Harrison, sister of George Harrison, to honor her brother’s legacy and faithfully recreate the band that changed the world forever. This upcoming event will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC, located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.
March 21: Restoration Work Party: Join the WNPS Master Native Plant Stewards every third Saturday at Steel Lake Annex located at 2620 S. 312th St. in Federal Way for a restoration work party. Plant Stewards will highlight native plants and healthy urban forests in this busy park central to the city. The next work party is coming up at 9 a.m. March 21.
March 21: Federal Way Collective Pop Up Event: Check out to shop, discover new brands and support local businesses in the community with small business vendors pop-up event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Make It Healthy Juice Bar located at 1620 S. 312th St., Suite C, Federal Way.
March 21: Poetry and Prosecco: Be inspired by the voices of our community from 5 to 7 p.m. with an evening of Open Mic Poetry, Spoken Word, and Prosecco specials, hosted by Brother Evan Cook and DJ Jay Marr at the PYC Sweets and Wine Bar in at 32925 1st Ave. S., Suite S, Federal Way.
March 21: A New Dawn. Blossoming Beyond Abuse: Join in person from 3 to 10 p.m. at the Family Life Center for “A New Dawn. Blossoming Beyond Abuse” — a heartfelt event focused on healing and growth. Come together to share stories, support one another, and find strength in community. This is a space to bloom, reconnect, and embrace new beginnings.
March 22: Line Dance for the Soul Beginner Class: More than just a line dance class, this is a movement experience rooted in joy, rhythm, and community. Come learn culture classics, current favorites, and more in a space that’s fun, welcoming, and full of good energy from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Trap Lab located at 1646 SW Dash Point Road, Suite A. Whether you’re brand new or ready to pick up some new line dance routines for the next cookout or when the music hits in the club, you’ll be guided step by step while enjoying great music and great vibes.
March 22: Spring Fling! with Jet Cities and Song of Seattle Choruses: Get a sneak peak of competition pieces by two local choruses accompanied by eight quartets ahead of their April North by Northwest Region 13 competition in Spokane. All groups will be observed by a judge and will receive valuable information to use for the competition at this upcoming showcase at 2 p.m. at the the Federal Way PAEC, located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S. Free tickets must be reserved ahead of time.
March 22: World Relief Women’s Sewing Class Orientation: The next volunteer orientation for the World Relief Women’s Sewing Class is coming up at 12:30 p.m. at Brooklake Church. This is a place for immigrant and refugee neighbors to practice English, develop friendships and learn valuable skills. Class volunteers will be able to support language acquisition, teach basic sewing techniques and build relationships.
March 24: FW City Council meeting: Federal Way City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall on the second floor in Council Chambers, 33325 8th Ave. S. in Federal Way.
March 24: Rhythm of Dance: Celebrate the spirit of Ireland with Rhythm of the Dance, the international sensation that has dazzled over 7 million fans across 50 countries at this event at 7 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC, located at 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.
March 25: Senior Commission Connection: Join the Senior Advisory Commission and special guests from the Marine Hills Garden Club at 11:30 a.m. for a light lunch and conversation. This free event will take place at the Federal Way Community Center, 876 S. 333rd St.
March 26: FWPS STEAM Exploration Night 2026: Families of Federal Way are invited to the ninth annual Federal Way Public Schools STEAM Exploration Night from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is Full STEAM Ahead and people can learn how to use STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) to fuel imagination and innovation toward a bright future.
March 28: Free Fix-It Event: Join the city of Federal Way and the South King Tool Library for a free Repair Café from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring your damaged furniture, broken small household items, dull knives, and torn clothing. Plan to stay during the repair, bring any manual/parts that may help, and be aware there is a limit of only three items for sharpening. The South King Tool Library is located at 1700 S. 340th St.
March 28: Soulful Season Spring Equinox with Gina Rusconi: This creative workshop for reflection and renewal will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Three Trees Yoga, 204 S. 348th St., Suite 2. Participants are invited to attend to slow down and align with the natural rhythm of the year through the equinoxes and solstices. Featuring guided meditation, accessible movement and a painting practice, this event is intended to help participants reflect, set intentions, and connect more deeply with themselves and the cycles of nature.
March 29: Summit, Myths and Music by the Auburn Symphony Orchestra: With the United States nearing its 250th anniversary, Summit, Myths and Music honors the landscapes and myths that have defined the country’s spirit in a performance at 2:30 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC, 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S.
April 2: Uniting the divided community: The Rotary Club of Federal Way is hosting a leadership forum centered on a movie screening and discussion over dinner on Thursday, April 2. The documentary is titled “Join or Die” and focuses on how to rejuvenate civic life through clubs and community organizations. This will be a working session for leaders to explore concrete steps to bring the community of Federal Way together. Local leaders can request an invitation by emailing rotaryfederalway@gmail.com.

April 17: Habib Qaderi: Habib Qaderi, a beloved Afghan music artist, will be performing in the PNW for the first time. This live concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Federal Way PAEC, 31510 Pete von Reichbauer Way S., and will feature a professional performance of his most popular songs and offers a unique opportunity for the Afghan community and music lovers to come together for an evening of celebration and cultural connection.
April 18: Park Appreciation Day: Join in for the annual Park Appreciation Day. Free lunch. Bring your water bottle, work gloves, and a friend. 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 18, at the Hylebos Blueberry Farm Park, 630 S. 356th St., Federal Way.

May 2: I’m Hooked Kids Fishing Event: In partnership with the I’m Hooked Inc. and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife, spend the day outdoors starting at 7 a.m. (rain or shine), engage in angler education, fishing, and health and wellness activities. Community mentors will help guide your child and family in the art of fishing, nature, health, and wellness and instill a love and passion to enjoy for years to come.
May 2: Celebrate Centerstage 2026: On May 2, join Centerstage Theatre for an evening celebrating the accomplishments of the past year and discovering what is in store for the future. The evening will include live entertainment and more. Visit centerstagetheatre.com.
May 29 to May 31: Arts Explosion: The Federal Way Arts Commission is hosting the 4th Annual “Arts Explosion” Juried Art Show Festival, taking place from May 29 to May 31 at the Performing Arts and Events Center. This festival will celebrate the diversity of Federal Way, showcasing the talents of both adult and youth artists, while promoting artistic growth and community engagement. “Arts Explosion” will feature the display, judging, and sale of artwork in five categories. June 5: Seniors Night Out: From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 5, enjoy an evening of live music, dinner and dancing for those 50 and older at the Federal Way Community Center, located at 876 S 333rd St. in Federal Way.
