Jane C. Hale (Miller) aged 80, of Federal Way, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Jane, born November 18, 1945, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Jane believed in the three Fs in life. Faith, family, friends. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Michael Eugene Hale, Sr. Her son Michael Hale Jr, and wife Lichelle. Daughter, Erica Lane, and husband, Cornelius Lane. Her grandchildren, Michael Hale III, and his wife Jasmine. Marcel Hale, his wife Makayla, and Marquise. Her great-grandsons, Zion & Malachi Hale. Folks from her early days in school to her military service, where she collected friendships from all over the globe.
Jane was a member of the Rose of Sharon Church. Acting as First Lady to its congregation. Where there was not an obstacle, great or small, that she could not manage. Leading Sunday school for the teens, choir member, leader of social concerns, and head chair of the Women of Purpose. She was an administrator at the School in Lieu for displaced children in the school district. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Berniece Miller.
A memorial service will be held at the Rose of Sharon Christian Church in Federal Way on January 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
