Wayne Ned Triplett

Wayne Ned Triplett passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 86. He was born on May 18, 1939, in Mason City, Washington. Wayne graduated from Fife High School in 1957 and joined the United States Air Force a year later. Wayne met his wife, Beverly, in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1958. After the Air Force, they came home to Tacoma and built a beautiful life together for over 66 years, with four children, many dogs, and many wonderful vacations. Wayne was a devoted family man. He was a hard worker throughout his life and a proud member of Teamsters Local 174. After he retired as a truck driver, he devoted his time to community service and joined Kiwanis International. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Beverly; daughters Kim Triplett-Kolerich (Kristina), Cheryl Triplett, Jennifer Stroh (Michael), and son Wade Triplett (Ann); daughter Barbara Reisner (Ted), Anacortes, WA; brother Larry (Terry) Triplett, Wickenburg, AZ; granddaughters Ariel Turk-Copeland and Brittney Triplett; three great grandchildren, and step grand-and-great grandchildren. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Cecil Triplett, and his brothers, Steven, Michael, and Marc Triplett. Wayne loved his family, his dogs, the University of Washington, milkshakes, taking cruises with his wife, and the Pacific Northwest. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Kiwanis Foundation of Federal Way, PO Box 3232, Federal Way, WA 98063. Services will be on Monday, November 24th, 10 a.m., Yahn & Sons Funeral Home, Auburn. Burial to follow at 1 p.m., Tahoma National Cemetery, Kent, WA.
