Thomas Jefferson High School freshman Jacob Hurskin, basketball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Dec. 3.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: History.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Video games.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My parents and coaches.
Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:
A: “Hard work pays off.”
Q: Describe your pre-match ritual?
A: Pre-game: Get focused on basketball. Post-game meal: Pizza.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: Not sure of a specific song, but I like music by Roddy Ricch.
