More than 800 people enjoyed local eats and live music at the Taste of Federal Way festival on Sept. 25.

Blue skies and warm weather made for perfect outdoor dining at the festival, held next to the Federal Way Farmers Market.

East India Grill won first place overall and won the People’s Choice award serving their ginger prawn dish.

KC Deez BBQ came in second serving their signature pulled pork sandwich and Mediterranean Gyro Grill took third place with their gyro salad. Billy McHale’s was awarded as the best decorated booth.
