Federal Way Public Schools district is searching for bus drivers. It’s a shortage facing districts in Washington counties and across the nation.

According to the National School Transportation Association, there is a critical nationwide need for school bus drivers and that need may last well into the coming school year.

Federal Way bus drivers are offered paid training at $22 an hour, and will be paid $250 after passing the Commercial Drivers License road test. After completing 45 work days with the district, bus drivers are eligible for an additional $250.
