Federal Way High School senior Peter Erickson, basketball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Jan. 24.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: P.E. class.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Basketball, hanging with friends and family.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My dad, Peter Erickson, and my mom, Stefanie Sanders.
Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:
A: “Keep shooting.”
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.
A: Pre-game ritual – Eats chicken fried rice and gets rest. Post-game meal – Chick-fil-A.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: “Speak 4 Em” by Moneybagg Yo.
From the sideline: Federal Way High School senior Peter Erickson has been playing at a high level and continues to improve on all areas of his game on the boys’ varsity basketball team. His on-ball defense and leadership have made big improvements this season. Most importantly, he has been a great teammate by displaying a constant stream of encouragement and support for his teammates. His hard work and team-first play do not go unnoticed.
