Two incumbents seem poised to retain their seats on the Federal Way City Council, while one former mayor is winning in early election results.

In the Pos. 3 race, incumbent Susan Honda holds a wide lead with nearly 65% of the votes, while challenger Sharry Edwards garnered 34% of the votes, according to preliminary King County Elections results on Tuesday night.

For Pos. 5, incumbent Mark Koppang is leading with 55% of the votes to challenger Jamila Taylor’s nearly 45%.

Former Mayor Linda Kochmar is also leading the Pos. 7 race with nearly 53% of the votes, while challenger Tony Pagliocco garnered 46%.

Final King County Elections results will be certified on Nov. 26.
