Federal Way High School junior Caitlin Chan, volleyball, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for Nov. 1.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Physics.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: Volleyball, spending time with family, and volunteering as a coach for gymnastics at Illahee Middle School.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Family.
Q: The best advice I’ve ever been given by a coach is:
A: To “have a positive mindset.”
Q: Describe your pre-game ritual and your favorite post-game meal.
A: Pre – drink apple juice and listen to music. Post – pasta.
Q: Song you currently can’t stop listening to?
A: “Nights Like This” by Kehlani.
From the sideline: FWHS junior Caitlin Chan is a model athlete. As a team captain, she makes others around her better by being a vocal leader. This season she has been working hard to perfect her passing skills and it has been evident in these last few games.
