Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for March 15: Yunjee Kang

Thomas Jefferson High School’s Yunjee Kang, dance team, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for March 15.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Biology.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you enjoy?
A: I love to dance and create things to express myself.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My sister. She gives me advice and pep talks to help encourage me.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: Take a deep breath and think of something happy.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Dancing With A Stranger,” by Sam Smith and Normani.
From the sideline: Yunjee Kang is involved in many programs at TJHS, but always makes dance feel like a priority. She is a leader and a great asset to TJ’s dance team. We are lucky to have her on our team.
