Mayor’s ‘not in my backyard’ approach to homeless crisis

Thank you Rep. Kristine Reeves for blasting Mayor Jim Ferrell in his attempt to transfer money given by the state to Federal Way for our homeless situation, and try to bus some of the those individuals to Burien.

His “not in my backyard” approach to the homeless crisis is the belief that too many people have. As mayor, he relinquished his duties of fairness to pacify the loudest voices of “I feel bad for the homeless people but get them out of here.”

So again, thank you Rep. Kristine Reeves for your leadership.
