Athlete of the Week:
Federal Way High School’s Isaac Procter-Yates, boys wrestling, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Male Athlete of the Week for Dec. 7.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Math.
Q: What other activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: Wrestling, running, or anything athletic.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: Step-dad K.C. Procter, there to support Isaac with wrestling.
Q: Do you have a pregame/competition ritual or postgame tradition, and what is it?
A: Pre – has a mental monologue to pump himself up.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: “Jingle Bells”
From the sideline: Isaac has been the heart and soul of the wrestling team this year. He is the person in the wrestling room that sets the tone for the practice. As a three-year returning varsity wrestler, he is ready to take on any challenges he gets matched up against. He is eager to learn and uses each match as a learning opportunity.
