Federal Way Mirror Athlete of the Week: Nadira Eltayeb

Thomas Jefferson Raiders sophomore forward Nadira Eltayeb was nominated and selected as the Federal Way Mirror Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 23 to Jan. 27.

Thomas Jefferson beat Federal Way 55-42 on Jan. 24, and Eltayeb led the Raiders with a season-high 19 points and 25 rebounds in the win. On the defensive end, Eltayeb led Jefferson with two steals and two blocks.

She continued her scoring outpour, Jan. 26, in a win over Decatur. On limited minutes, Eltayeb contributed with six points, seven rebounds, one block and one steal in the 53-31 win.
