Meet Kayda | Pet of the Week

Published 8:00 am Monday, September 12, 2016

Kayda is a 13-year-old female German Shepherd mix, about 55 pounds (ID #A187783).

This sweet girl is good on a leash and has a lot of energy for an older dog. She’d love to go on walks with her new family. She knows how to sit on command and will shake paws. Kayda takes treats gently and loves getting her neck scratched. She doesn’t like to be bothered while she’s eating, so she would do best in a home with kids who will understand that. She’ll also need to meet any current dogs in your home before being adopted.

If you’re looking for a sweet older gal to be part of your family, Kayda would love to meet you. She’s spayed, current on vaccinations, and micro-chipped. Her $100 adoption fee includes a free visit to the veterinarian of your choice and 30 days of pet insurance through Trupanion.

You can find out more about Kayda on her PetFinder profile at www.petfinder.com/petdetail/36104803. You can also meet Kayda, as well as other animals available for adoption, seven days a week at RASKC’s King County Pet Adoption Center in Kent (21615 64th Ave. S.) on Mondays from 3-6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays from noon-6 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from noon-5 p.m. For more information, contact 206-296-PETS orpets@kingcounty.gov.
