Federal Way basketball tourney to fight hunger

A “Turn Down the Heat” 3-on-3 amateur basketball tournament benefiting Northwest Harvest is scheduled for Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (34815 Weyerhaeuser Way S.) will host the event. Friday’s festivities begin at 7 p.m. and Saturday’s get going at 8:30 a.m. Cost of admission is two or more cans of non-perishable food items that will be donated to Northwest Harvest.
