Village Green Director of Resident Services Tasha Griffin recently earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Education.
She was awarded her degree by Western Governors University Washington.
Griffin has been at Village Green for three-and-a-half years, overseeing senior care and directing the activities of Certified Nursing Assistants. She performs extensive assessments with residents, determining their specific needs and working closely with a variety of physicians to coordinate treatment plans.
As a geriatric nurse for 16 years, Griffin has also worked in home health, hospitals and hospice, but caring for seniors is her passion.
“I love the relationships I have with our residents,” Griffin said. “Nursing is ever-changing, and as medications and procedures evolve I want to ensure I am providing the very best care that seniors need and deserve.”
