Decatur alum pitches perfect game

On April 30, Garrett Westberg pitched a seven-inning perfect game for Tacoma Community College against Green River Community College and was named a Northwest Athletic Conference player of the week.
He struck out 10 batters and the Titans won 9-0.
Westberg was an integral part of Decatur High School’s run through the state playoffs last year when they finished fourth in state. He had 107 strikeouts for Decatur last season.
Westberg is 5-1 for Tacoma Community College in nine appearances this season. He has 54 strikeouts on the season and has posted an ERA of 3.40.
Tacoma Community College is currently 26-9. They’re in second place in the NWAC West Region.
