Todd Beamer's girls and Federal Way's boys basketball teams both captured South Puget Sound League titles and top seeds to districts.

Federal Way’s boys basketball team defeated Curtis 63-61 to win the South Puget Sound League championship. They will be the top seed from the SPSL in the West Central District tournament which begins on Wednesday, Feb. 10. They will host the fifth seeded Narrows League team in the first round.

Todd Beamer’s girls basketball team defeated Curtis 55-31 to claim the SPSL championship. They are the top seed from the SPSL to districts as well. They will also host the fifth seeded team from the Narrows League in the first round of the West Central District tournament.
