Thomas Jefferson grad completes military training

U.S. Air Force Airman Darlene F. Tausili graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. She completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward a degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Tausili is the daughter of Tuloa Tausili of Des Moines. She is also the granddaughter of Mereane Tausili and niece of Enoka and Mereane Fatuesi, and Mara and Sopoaga Saleaumua, all of Kent. The airman graduated in 2014 from Thomas Jefferson High School.
