Des Moines toddler abducted by grandmother found | Update

Police found Two-year-old Ronnie Tran unharmed in Renton Wednesday morning.

An Amber Alert went out for the child after reports that he was abducted from a Des Moines residence by his 65-year-old grandmother, Vien Nguyen.

Tran allegedly subdued Ronnie’s 40-year-old mother with an electrical stun device and bound her with plastic tie straps, police said.

The mother was able to escape but her son was taken by his grandmother. She was armed with a stun device and made threats to harm Ronnie.
