Many foster children experience a sudden change of homes, which means starting over at a new school without the needed tools for success. You can help by picking up a few essential items for foster children to donate at Wild Waves Theme Park on Sleep Country’s Foster Kids Day, which runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24.

The most needed items include backpacks, notebooks, three-ring binders, calculators and flash drives.

Receive half-off admission with the donation of new school supplies for foster children.

Wild Waves is located at 36201 Enchanted Parkway S. in Federal Way.
