The FBI is seeking the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a Federal Way bank on Friday.

The suspect robbed the Umpqua bank at 1900 S. 320th St. at approximately 5:30 p.m., according to the FBI’s Seattle Safe Streets Task Force.

According to the Federal Way police report, the man walked up to the teller and handed over a note, which said to give him all of the $50 and $100 bills. He also noted he didn’t want any GPS tracking devices included. The teller handed over the money and he walked out with about $1,650 in cash.

He is described as a white male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches, with a skinny build.

Anyone with information who can help identify this suspect is asked to call the FBI at 206-622-0460 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Callers to Crime Stoppers may remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information given leads to an arrest and charge of the person involved.
