Federal Way Walmart recognized for Relay For Life participation

More than 50 Federal Way Walmart associates volunteered more than 300 hours for the Relay for Life cancer walk June 7 and 8 at Saghalie Middle School.

The store, No. 2571 located on 314th Street, will receive a Volunteerism Always Pays recognition from the Walmart Foundation, which makes them eligible for a $5,000 team sponsor donation to the American Cancer Society.

Walmart team members included co-captains Dick Mayer and Brenda Keller, store manager Josh Proctor, co-manager Burke Zeller and associates Amber Singletary, Betty Gundram, Rebecca Morris, Kristine Wright, Shawn Ortiz and Valjean Nestor.
